None....yet. But I hope you get your two bedroom! That apartment will be absolutely drop-dead gorgeous!

I only qualify for studios and one bedrooms and many of those studios are very small. But if they call me, I'll let you know!

Just got an email requesting my documents for this place.. Unfortunately I've already signed a lease for Essex Crossing. Anyone know or have pictures of the apartment in the Summit?

Midtown East and LES are two quite different lifestyles...probably shouldn't be too hard to choose! Since you must have already gotten most of the docs ready for EC, no harm in submitting and getting a look at the place.

Ahhhh I am envious. I am still daydreaming about a 3 block commute to work from this building. You can see my office window in one of the promotional photos of the view from the property on their website. I am definitely more of a Queens girl than a Midtown girl, but I figure it is much easier to move back to Queens than it is to find a luxury apartment I can afford so close to work, if I end up hating Manhattan life. pick me pick me pick me please

Sorry for the double post but I just went back to this lottery on the housingconnect site and unless I am hallucinating, they have raised the upper income limit for the 120% AMI bracket. I am quite certain it was ~95k for a single person when I originally applied, and now it is 100k. I remember a friend wanted to apply as well but she was just barely over 95k at the time. This seems weird - has anyone seen other instances of a change in income limits after a lottery is closed?

Hi Biscuit!

You're not hallucinating - there has been an increase.
I noticed the increase about two weeks ago.

It's not uncommon - lottery happened when the 2020 AMIs were in effect but since then the higher 2021 AMI has been released.

So did I! I was initially disqualified for an apt but thanks to the increase I was able to dispute it and my application (for a different apt) was reinstated. Hoping to move in June

Thanks for the replies. I didn't realize the eligibility could change after a lottery is closed. That seems unfair, but housing in this city is a 10 ring circus anyway so why not?
