How are they considering incomes during the pandemic? I had one bad year in the last year due to pandemic restrictions on my business. All good the year before and the year after. Does anyone know? Thanks

You are asked to provide your W2 for the previous year and, most recent pay statements, and 6 months of bank records along with other documents if you are self employed.

Hi Fred!

I would say, offhand, you will have quite a long wait for a three-bedroom. There are many fewer of them in ST. You already know that because you posted that helpful link that had the apartment breakdowns.

I believe a previous poster who wanted a three-bedroom needed to move fairly quickly and changed his or her request to a two-bedroom. You may want to search for that post.

The three-bedrooms are nice, and of course if you've got kids it's great to have the space. But there's only one bathroom in ST (PCV will probably have a second bathroom, a real bonus).

I'm a bit rusty on grammar schools since my daughter is all grown up! But I understand that the schools are pretty decent around here. Check out P.S. 40, which is the closest, and P.S. 116. Those are in District 2. P.S. 19 is a bit south on First Avenue and I believe is in District 1.

There are also quite a few private schools, but of course they are super expensive! Those include UNIS (the United Nations School), and the Friends School. A new school, Goddard, just opened in ST, but I don't know anything about that. There's also the British School at Waterside.

Best of luck!

That's the way life is sometimes! I just moved into Stuytown a month ago and, I'm getting calls for projects, I thought I had no chance for and, had had extremely high log numbers! I got called for 276 Grand Concourse, a building I watched raised from ground up, waited through 2 delays on the lottery closing and, really wanted but, it's too late, I'm moved in and loving it!
