Still wondering if I have a chance. I’m ready to move into my own place. It would be my first apartment out of my parents home.
You need to wait until they contact applicants without preference before you might receive notification. I posted in the last page, they have to go through preferences first. That’s what both agents assigned to my case told me.
No. You have to already be renting your own apartment to qualify. You can’t go from living in your parents place to affordable housing. Sorry.
That’s untrue. I moved in with my dad last year and just needed a letter showing I lived with him to prove residency and CB preference. Prior to that, I was living in my own place. This is the wrong kind of misinformation.

Thank you for the update. I have no cb preference and log 14xx which is the lowest out of majority of my log numbers. I’m just anxious lol

Oops. Thanks for correcting me. Maybe I had old info.
So I have the TIC and other documents to give. I was given a big floor plan but I couldn’t get a higher floor which I wanted and my kitchen is an open floor plan. I’ll try to make it work when I see it in person.
