Submitted my documents back in January, log number of #30XX with CB preference, still haven’t heard back from them. I’d been emailing almost every week to City5, with the same response that I was in the queue.

I last heard back from them in April with them saying it could be another month until I hear from them. I haven’t bothered emailing again, I’m just assuming that all of the 1 bedrooms are gone by now. And the $100 cost and SF difference for the studio units makes them not worth it in my opinion.

This has been such a downer of a process it feels like you have to win multiple lotteries of being low enough in several sequences, and the units aren’t even that affordable.

Hey, I went to the last open house and qualified for a studio. They never reached out again after that and I just saw yesterday that there’s no units available.

Yeah that tracks. I’m not surprised but still disappointed.

I only found out about this forum today. Is there somewhere official you can track the # of units? Last I saw on housing connect is said documents under review. Not that that’s changed for the last 5 months.

I’m disappointed as well as I really wanted this unit. All I can say is when I went to the open house I was told there was 6 studios left and it seems like there were not many 1 Bedrooms left. I expressed my interested in moving forward and was told an “Occupancy Specialist” would reach out to me but that never happened. I just saw it updated to “No units available” on Friday. If you are in the 80% ami, I would probably consider them all filled.

I’m assuming you mean it updated on the housing connect website? Which is strange because it didn’t update to say that for me, it still says under review.

But yeah, in any case, I think it’s over.

Greatest need for "affordable" housing comes in at lower AMI end of things.

Lower income/AMI bands are also where city pulls or requires set asides for homeless, voucher holders and others.

Yes it updated to “No Units Available” on Housing Connect for me. However, I also received an email from them this morning saying that people before me are under review and if someone doesn't qualify they will contact me. I’m not counting on anything, but I guess there’s still a slight chance.

Do you have the specialist contact information or the marketing agency email? For some reason my application says pending but no contact information.
