If you want those things in your community, Bushwick is not the place. Nightlife is 5 minutes away in Williamsburg. Museums are even farther. Union Square is a 20 minute train ride.

What are "hipsters" and why should we be compelled to dislike them as much as yourself?

i really am not qualified to give u a hipster education but in easy terms a hipster is someone that when u see them walking down the street u just look at them like what is that? is that person retarded? have they lost their mind? or are they just dumb? or maybe gay? lets just say they are someone who looks so dumb that when u walk by them u just have to shake ur head in disgust and ask urself what is ny turning into?

You're from Jersey. Go and see for yourself. What is safe for one person isn't for the next, but I assure you some parts are seedy. East williamsburg is fine too, but i don't think you can compare that to bushwick

yeah, i knew about that...lol
i have friends in bushwick, who will most likely try to convince me to move there, but idunno... i also lived on the LES in the early 90's, trust me though, i'm not from some affluent part of jersey...far from it, no Camden either, it's a mix, but having lived here, and there, and even in New Orleans, i'm pretty adaptable, just lookin for somethin decent for my kid, ya know
