Do you really think SIers want the subway extended to their island?

Do you really think locals want the subway extended to Kings Plaza???

I vote no! For precisely the reason it was not in Brooklyn.

Why make it easier for the poor and other riff raff to invade the neighborhood???

If you can't afford a car AND a home, you do not need to be there. That area of Brooklyn remains as it is, BECAUSE there is no subway.

Alll of Flatbush, including Prospect Lefferts Gardens deteriorated BECAUSE of subway access and an excess of rental buildings. No subway, no rentals, no rentals, no poor and riff raff, and PLG and Flatbush itself remains the great place it had been!!

Kings Plaza is a *Mall*, inherently intended to serve folks with vehicles, and are edifices of the car culture. That area is a part of American car culture. It is an area of HOMES, grass and trees, backyards and front yards, detached and semi detached homes, GARAGES!!! Quiet peaceful.

Distnctly low density and non urban. NO tenements, and for the greater part no public housing!
