That means the current list would be expired when the test is given. Will they extend the 6063 list again?
I think he must have meant June 2013 because 2014 is not possible. The current list expires in feb 2014 & the test has to be given at least 6 months before that. So I would think the test has to be this summer
Was at FBF today with 100 random guys doing a questionnaire feedback thing for the new exam with the guy from DCAS who is going to write the exam....he said he was hoping by the end of the year but even that's not looking promising

Is it civil service law that there cannot be a lapse in an established list? If so, the current list would have to be extended again until the new one is ready to take effect
If you call the union hall (a coworker did) they told him no earlier then june 2014... Does the person he talked to really know? who know? but thats the answer he got. They are calling random guys to goto FBF to have them take questionnaires on the new test... SOOOooo i think that would take atleast a year to get ready... But do i know for sure? nope... Just go with the flow...

I totally agree that we need to go with the flow. But for the guys like myself only 200 names away, having the new test pushed back another year gives us alot more wiggle room. So lets wait and see what happens this spring. And hope.
This article says the test must be given in 2013 before the old list expires
"City Councilman Dan Halloran, who has a prickly history with sanitation workers, sent out a press statement early Saturday morning praising New York’s Strongest for their work during the Friday snowstorm."
The Dept's good friend...
He claimed 2 sanitation workers and a DOT supervisor came forward to him and told him everything about our slowdown. Lol what a douche...
A lot or chatter on the dsnystrongest forum about 2 classes this spring. Anyone here hear of anything?
