In Queens, I like the Midway on Queens Blvd. and the Kaufman in Astoria.

I haven't been yet but the Loew's Orpheum on Third Avenue between 86th and 87th has a bargain before noon: $6. I think they just started the policy.

Thank god for Widescreen TVs, surround sound, Blurays, Netflix and Pay per View.
I haven't stepped into a theater surrounded by uncivilized cretins in ages. Its not just the ghetto theater goers- plenty of non-ghetto idiots with cellphones, talking, babies, etc.
I actually find ghetto theater commentary quite amusing at times- like Mystery Science Theater 3000.

The worst movie theater in the world is Magic Johnson in Harlem, FDB and 125th.
It is worth going just once to actually have the experience.
Trust me that the amusement wears off after that first visit.
