i dunno about that...i know for NYPD they have their own investigators that are not DCAS employees...the only thing DCAS handles is the entrance exam....correct me if im wrong.

Does anyone have a number or website to find out what list number the city is at in the hiring process? my number is 2,900...

They will post it on the website after the list comes out but you won't see anything on it for at least another month or so until they start calling people off the 6063 list. nyc.gov/sanitation

i can't be positve on it but what I do know is that when i filled out my 20 page booklet for the background check, it had certain criteria that only pertained to NYPD positions.

each class is about 150 people.So they will have to call enough to atleast
fill those spots I figure about 400-500

HI Everyone,..

I HAVE A LIST NUMBER AROUN 570... I GOT A 103.75.... HOW SOON MIGHT I BE CALLED?.....ALSO I WAS ARRESTED WHEN I WAS YOUNGER FOR AN ASSAULT, BUT THE CASE WAS DISMISSED ( IT WAS SELF DEFENSE) SO I NEVER GOT CHARGED WITH ANYTHING AT ALL,.. DO I HAVE TO TELL THEM THIS, OR IS THAT NOT ON ANY RECORD?
