so is a college degree these days.

Listen college isn't for everyone, this country has become obsessed with the idea that everyone must go to college and burden themselves with debt. I have done very well for myself without a college degree. At the end of the day you need connections and some luck and to find your niche.

I have a decent pay job, I came out of college with no debt.

Its about what you specialized. Being $80k in debt just so you can go to a fancy private party school and get a degree in "Art History", a not so marketable degree, don't blame this country for "your" decision.

We all don't move to the beat of just one drum, what might be right for you might not be right for some.

-Different Strokes

The richest guy I know is an Italian immigrant with no education who owns a deli, the worst off person I know has a degree and lives with roommates in a barrio..we all take different paths in life.

Absolutely, there are always exceptions. A college degree will open a lot of opportunities over someone with just a hs diploma in most professions.
