I got the call as well. I will start on the 18th too ! Its been a long time coming I was sure I was going to be in last years class and the one in October as well. I was starting to lose hope but then I got the call.!
Can anyone share some insight how orientation goes besides filling out paper work. ? Will the first few days be at 1PP and then the academy?
Congratulations to all. It has been a long wait. There was a 3% increase for city workers. Does that mean, this position salary is higher than the $35,330 they originally quoted?

Congratulations to you guys! The first day at 1PP we did paperwork all day. The very next day we had to be at the academy. First couple of weeks we had presentations, introductions, and you guessed it, more paperwork (it really is a lot of paperwork). The following weeks you have your academic classes and typing. You guys can message me privately for a little more detail.
