It might, but there’s still a ways to go before LIC gets pricier than DUMBO as LIC still has quite a few parcels to develop high-rises while DUMBO does not. It certainly won’t beat out prime Manhattan anytime soon.
LIC/Astoria/Sunnyside...maybe Woodside and JH's, Forest Hills/Kew Gardens will be impacted as pricing will surely soar as more tech snowflakes move in.
What I see for sure is the further erosion of the middle class family. Neighborhoods will be either 3rd world illegals or wealthy techsters. The days of the teacher/fireman/cop/sanitation worker/postman living and raising families in Queens are gone.
