Saddest thing about this whole event is Andrew Cuomo will most certainly be re-elected (and yes he is going to run) again in 2022. Sixteen years as NYS governor.[LEFT]
Yep, I'm guessing he stockpiled ventillators for his own family so he may survive. The state and city will decay until a vaccine is available. Obviously mass transit is a death trap, many jobs are gone permanently, this was a wake-up call. NY is gonna become a welfare state as the rich leave and Cuomo raises the taxes. It's already happened in upstate NY.There isn't enough money in the world to fix NYC now.
So, Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, took his jet to China and purchased a million of the impossible to get N95 masks and other medical equipment for hospitals in Boston. The plane is enroute back home now scheduled to land in Boston this afternoon.
China is a very real and significant threat to the global community. Confronting that threat is not racist. And something tells me if China was replaced with Russia in this whole pandemic the word racist wouldn't even be mentioned.
I seem to remember that for some forty years and counting the Russians have been highly responsible with nuclear weapons, while the Chinese have proven to be highly irresponsible with food supply and biological weapons.
So, Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, took his jet to China and purchased a million of the impossible to get N95 masks and other medical equipment for hospitals in Boston.
Why the **** can't our federal government do this ? Why do we have hospital workers getting sick and dying all across the country because of a lack of these masks when it is now obvious that it can be done ? Why aren't there plane loads of this stuff in the air right now on the way to other major U.S. cities?
It's like Hurricane Katrina. Private sectors, churches and charities had to pitch in. Not the fed gov't.
Regardless. People of Chinese or Asian descent are not responsible for this virus. Period. And anyone trying to blame an entire populous for something they are clearly NOT responsible for is wrong.

This is true too. Just spoke to a good friend of mines who is recovering from Covid19. Now he has become racists to chinese people. This is not funny at all. Plenty of people who are infected will need mental health evaluation from this.
Lets be honest here, a racist cannot tell the difference between, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, etc. All they know if their eyes are slanted then they fit the profile to be racist against. The remainder of the year will be really bad for all Asians no matter the ethnicity. I dont want to say it but Asian is the new Black, and the black community most likely will not step in and help them through this due to when blacks were having racist issues the Asian community pulled themselves away and stuck with their own and if the black community do help right after it passes they will go back and stick to their own.

What are you talking about the black community stepping in and help? Some if not a lot of the racist attacks on Asians are from black ignoramuses and thugs.
