Why the **** can't our federal government do this ? Why do we have hospital workers getting sick and dying all across the country because of a lack of these masks when it is now obvious that it can be done ? Why aren't there plane loads of this stuff in the air right now on the way to other major U.S. cities?
Yea, the hospital where my friend's working has a Chinese immigrant resident studying in the US and her parents have been, on their pwn dime, shipping assloads of PPE to her so she can distribute them at work. I'm getting shipped hundreds from China and Taiwan and distributing them to my friend's hospital.

The response of this government has been ridiculous.

Nobody is arguing that the Chinese CCP gov't is a problem and shouldn't be confronted.

We are talking about racial incidents against people, notably Asians in America, who have about as much to do with the virus as white people today have with Slavery.

Can't people agree that you should't go assaulting innocent people and be done with it? Why this huge,..'but' the Chinese gov't this and that.

This is also true unfortunately.

I dont want to say it but Asian is the new Black, and the black community most likely will not step in and help them through this due to when blacks were having racist issues the Asian community pulled themselves away and stuck with their own and if the black community do help right after it passes they will go back and stick to their own.

They are working on it.

Have you seen the video where they seized a stockpile of masks (5000) from Baruch Feldheim in Brooklyn.

Wow, hope we can soon hear that Mr Feldheim gets the virus and dies a very painful death without benefit of a respirator.

NYS will have 100k infection by tomorrow. If nys was it's own separate nation. It would rank 3rd or 4th in global infection.

“You look to see in Nassau County 1,000 new cases, Suffolk County 1,141 new cases. That is troubling news,” Cuomo said Thursday at a press conference in Albany, referring to the two counties that comprise Long Island. Suffolk County is home to the Hamptons, the wealthy playground for Manhattan’s rich.

New York has now become the new epicenter of the outbreak in the world with more reported infections than China’s Hubei province where the coronavirus emerged in December.

The state is rushing to build temporary hospitals and the federal government has sent 85 refrigerated trucks to store deceased coronavirus patients, hundreds of ambulances, medical personnel and other supplies to New York City.

Positive cases/People tested: 8,669/18,031

Hospitalizations: +1,157
Discharges: +1,292
ICU: +374

Prior two days for hospitalizations were 1,412 and 1,287. Discharges are exceeding hospitalizations, W/O widespread use of HCQ.

Elmhurst Hospital/Corona Queens is most dangerous area in NYC for the virus

Health Department data show nearby Elmhurst has the second highest rate of positive cases with 831 confirmed COVID-19 patients and Borough Park in Brooklyn the third with 771.

NEW YORK CITY — In an almost unbelievable twist of irony, the most cases of the new coronavirus in New York City have been found in the Queens neighborhood of Corona.

No New York City region has reported more positive COVID-19 tests than the zip code 11368 — which covers Corona, North Corona and Willets Point — with 947 cases reported as of March 31, city data show.

More than 77 percent of the 1,227 Corona residents tested received confirmation they had the deadly virus, New York City Health Department data show.

The neighborhood's population is the most badly affected in New York City

March 31th numbers

Rhode Island is not playing with New York

My niece got stopped by the cops with her NY plates on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday. She lives in Rockland County.

Don't get that one. NJ is almost as infected as you are.
