Leverage is what builds wealth …people who build wealth usually do it through leverage in real estate

And with that leverage comes risk, which I assumed one knew there would be risk

Seems like a lot of shed tears because nobody had a Plan B

Maybe I'm not sympathetic because I've seen dispossesses longer than this pandemic

Risk is one thing but having the government starve you of legitimate rental income is not the same as risk.

There is alway risk with borrowed money and if anyone using leverage does not know that they deserve to get stung .

Whether to take a mortgage or not has lots of moving parts …

There are times it is the smart thing to do and other times it is not .

What you will be putting the money in matters as well as what stage of your life you are in .

Simple answers to complex questions are going to be the wrong answers for most

I can't fathom how you refuse to lay any blame on the government. What business has ever had to plan for the government to suddenly refuse to allow them any income at all while forcing them to maintain all the liability? I guess it's the restaurants' faults too huh?

Like I said, I've seen dispossesses longer than this pandemic

Every month there's a risk that somebody will not pay

I'm not saying the government is right for what they're doing

I'm just saying the LLs should have been more financially prepared being as that LLs do not have unemployment insurance

So are we considering government intervention a risk, or no

Doesnt matter anyway, if there was no eviction moratorium you all would be begging the govt to do something about the homeless sleeping on the sidewalks, so, can't make every one happy
