Think about it simply here. If I am the only person in the world with Covid and I quarantine myself and don't spread to anyone.... problem solved. The virus can no longer find a host and replicate. Covid has ended with me! But the thing is, everyone out there with Covid is letting it rip, as you said, and spreading it to everyone else.
But as it spreads it gets milder. I don't know why but it's been that way for every pandemic in history. I'm a history, not a science, buff.

Its too late. You haven't been paying attention to the correct sources of information. Even the CDC has given up, as well as most world gov't's, to try and completely eradicate it.

You and China still think it is possible though.

Then I'm surprised that our "experts" didn't think about that if that is the way it's been for every pandemic in history.

Think about it; bubonic plague is no longer killing people, and I don't know what that morphed into. The "experts" were not going to lose their day in the sun by saying: "people, use your judgment."

It's extremely mild and going to get more mild
It's not the Spanish flu
It isn't even 2020 covid

These things you propose don't take place in a vacuum

We're all gonna be dead one day and then none of us can get covid
Enjoy your life while you can

Yes, China released it, but to date, they only have 221,955 total Covid cases. We have 84 million! That's really insane!

But ok, I'll give you the mic. Since you know more, please tell me.... how do we stop Covid from spreading and bring this pandemic down to a close? If masks, social distancing and staying at home don't work. Then what's your plan? I'm listening...
That does not mean that AT ALL. It means that Americans go a lot more to McDonald’s, drink sodas and fruit juices, consume more GMOs, snack throughout the day, do not fast, have prescription pill, alcohol and opioid addictions and are overall obese. That’s what kills people. COVID deaths and hospitalizations have NOTHING to do with social distancing and mask wearing. That data is already out.

You guys talk about enjoying my life but then how can I do that without McDonald's? Refraining from McDonald's is worse than wearing a mask. A Mask is only a temporary discomfort. But not eating McDonald's is everlasting torture.

I'd rather eat the mask than a McDonald's burger

By the way, this came in today. Looks like the CDC is urging NYC people to wear masks again...
