Of course Manhattan has the most projects.

Where the hell is Edgemere located?
So the Bronx projects are cool?? Damn our generation has lost big time.

Edgemere and Arverne were renamed Ocean Bay. The old-timers (like myself) still call them Edgemere and Arverne. Nobody around my way says Ocean Bay.

Yea, I guess a lot of the buildings I'm thinking of are just crappy, and not actually projects..

I don't know. Seems like I remember more projects than that when I lived in Queens but maybe they weren't projects

I'm in the same position, but I guess a lot of the places I'm thinking of are like projects in the attitude and the structure.. but not hosted by NYC, and aren't officially projects? That's the only conclusion I can come to, but I'm pretty sure there's more, might have to scope around a bit..

I mean in terms of having to see them. The Bronx, not just south Bronx, has projects througout. Brooklyn is really concentrated so it may give the illusion that it has more but in reality they're virtually the same amount of projects.

You only really find projects in north Brooklyn. In the Bronx you can see them in the south Bronx, Soundview, Throgs Neck or Wakefield.....these are worlds apart from each other.

Plus they have cooler names. I prefer the name Betances over Marcy.

And Morris over Brownsville.

But I do absolutely love the name Louis E. Pink houses.
