It seems like these guys are really deranged or doping too much from oxy or something. Walking around like zombies. If I was a woman I would freak out as these 2 women ran up when they got chased too. If the trains came, they could've pushed people off the platform and I ended up waiting upstairs until the train came.
I was in Jackson Heights to see a relative at the Hospital and went to take a train after 10pm. I suddenly got mobbed by 2-3 people talking crap and looking mentally unstable. I bumped one of the guy away who is shorter than me but he could've had a knife. Another clown came up to me from behind and said some gibberish. A lot of bystanders looked on with alarm and fear in their eyes and I shoved another guy away from me who was rubbing my back like he wanted to strip my backpack away. I walked up the stairs and saw MTA workers standing upstairs cleaning but no cops ever came down. The place was well lit and had cameras. But these clowns started roaming up and down the platform harassing other people. These 2 women had to quickly run up next to me to avoid being harassed.
Why not just catch a Uber? Why are you catching the subway at 10pm at night? I dont even like the atmosphere of the subway at 5pm
Most of the night times I've taken the subway it's usually the same weirdos at the front dancing or screaming nonsense. I've never seen anybody being attacked but had seen people clearing from an angry deranged person.

Exactly. Which is why I love telling people in democrat places that they have no right to complain all the time. They voted for all the problems they cry about!

Women in particular are feeling unsafe and it is affecting ridership.

I've taken mass transit everywhere and even in 3rd world countries and never felt unsafe. You see plenty of women and children taking mass transit in those countries. That's their right.
I ride the subway a lot but you have to stay frosty these days....too many EDPs loose in the transit system post-justice reform. 125th st 4 platform at 530AM is like something out of a zombie movie. I'm always checking my six, always have a way out. Maintain good spacing @ all times.
What about taking an express bus? I have not had problems on those so far (I had taken them up until midnight a few times, though not typically after 9 pm). Staying alive and unharmed is probably worth extra $3.50 per ride, no?
