The main problem with graff is not what is drawn but rather, the placement of the drawing. Spraying people's property is obviously wrong and illegal however, the illegal part is exactly what motivates the kids. JA isn't famous for putting up jarring "pieces" and or murals;he's famous for hit ups EVERYWHERE albeit the "destruction" of saber's on the LA River bank.
So you were born in '88 and by 94/95 you were writing?

As a sign of disrespect to these clowns who like to tag up in my neighborhood, I walk around at night with black spray paint and "X" out all the tags in the neighborhood. You still see their tag name and what it says but to make them feel stupid and embrassed by their fellow friends, a nice big fat X over a tag name is the ULTIMATE insult for these youngsters.

That makes you just as bad as them.
Do you read the stuff this guy says? But then people come defend him when I call him out.
Says you. Graffiti has actually totally stopped since I started Xing out their tags. Not even 1 new tag have I seen up. NO LIE. They don't want further embarassment of their tags being disrespected because if I see new tags going up, I'm a continue Xing them out. Thats the way it is and thats the way its going to be. End of story.
I'm not gonna let these young "bucks" get away with defacing the community by tagging up everywhere and leaving their mark. Hell no! I have too much pride for my community to allow this to happen. I want an affluet Bronx NOT a ghetto Bronx. Fight fire with fire. Beat them at their own game. Ha ha ha.
