Just went to dcas today. Not an interview. Just wanted proof that you were a veteran. They didn't ask any questions. I did however speak to MTA. They are up to list # 1067. They are going to have a class in July and other classes. There was no mention of the list closing. I thought I was around list # 1200 then I saw 3372 on the dcas letter. I'm not getting called anytime soon. So discouraged.

Yeah dude, if you scored a 100, you should've at least been in my class, and i finished schoolcar in March! My class in the A div had a couple 100s and the rest was 98.75. I would follow what ^^^he said, especially if its a job you really want

I took the drug test on May 9th, (list #1200), and I just received a letter to report back next week. The thing that confuses me is that the letter is the exact same letter I received in May, saying I will need to take a drug test and hearing test. Also, I thought the MTA only calls to notify us to come back for the medical. Did anyone else receive another letter for medical testing?

Another question regarding union fees: how much of your paycheck is deducted for that? Are there any other fees we should know about? (Uniform fees, etc.)

Thanks.

I went into 180 today and asked about the letter and they said that another drug test is needed because the one I took in May will not be valid by the start of the new class to begin 7/28.

Pay attention to what number you are. A friend of mine bumped into a friend of his. His friend said he was hired. He asked him what number he was on the list. My friend realized they jumped over his number. He went downtown. They had no GOOD reason for it. He was hired.
