i don't see that this would pay well enough to live in NYC....

It tough getting a decent paying tech job in the city. Private firms want to nickle and dime you to death on top of needing a BS degree, xp and certs.

Yea, unfortunately everytime I go to a job interview I always get "what certifications do you have blah blah blah?

I'm starting to think about a 2nd field, I.T gets annoying after listening to people and their issues. Some days I'm at work thinking why the hell did I go to school for this?
