My point was if someone doesn't put drunk pictures on facebook, they might get drunk and you would never know. So they could still get drunk and say they work for you, even though they don't have drunk pictures on facebook.
And unless you're around your employees 24/7, you can't be sure what they do when they're off the job.
Once again you are totally missing the point. The world is small and, despite the valid point I made about FB photographic entries where corporate entities were concerned where global exposure is concerned, my situation in a small community is very pertinent.
In the small community I inhabit I know what goes on and, yes, I DO know what my employees are doing when they're not on the job. And if I slip up once in a while, someone will tell me.
At 19 years old and with all your non-experience, don't be preaching to the choir on matters that you know absolutely nothing about. Best you simply button the lip and simply learn.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a good thing to get drunk. I don't drink. I'm just saying when employers try to weed out job candidates by checking for drunk pictures on facebook, they're assuming the only people that get drunk are people with drunk pictures. Whether someone gets drunk and posts a picture or gets drunk and doesn't post a picture, what difference does it make? Either way, they got drunk.
If an employer is going to deny a job to someone just for posting a drunk picture, they might as well fire an existing employee if they find out the employee got drunk (regardless of whether or not said employee posted a picture).

So if you find out an employee got drunk (but they didn't post a picture), would you fire them?
And if we're talking a big corporation in a big city, then it's like the employer is saying "I don't care if you get drunk as long as I don't find out. If you don't post any pictures on facebook, I will pretend it never happened."
That's like when the RA's at a college tell people to close the door if they want to drink
I shouldn't be complaining. I shouldn't be sticking up for these people with drunk pictures.
Because I don't drink, therefore I have no drunk pictures on facebook.
So if employers don't hire people with drunk pictures, I guess that's good news for me. Because that means an employer might be more likely to hire me over a more qualified, but drunk, job candidate

Not all communities are so small though that employers are able to check private details of a person's life, either on Facebook or elsewhere. And there are probably some jobs more than others where employers would be more or less likely to do that.

Posting the drunk photos also demonstrate a lack of good judgment and Discretion ... Employers may not always know who the drunks are but with technology and the stupidity of many Facebook users, the employer's job of weeding out candidates.

Anyways ... I have recently realized that as flawed as Facebook can be, I just love sharing photos with family and loved ones. I just recently got several of my digital photos printed and they came out nicely.
