Especially since they taste like chalk.

I miss wind wings. The last car I had that came equipped with those was a vintage Mustang.

We called them 'cozy wings'. No idea why.

I miss them too! I wish they'd come back out. The nostalgia market has caught on with so many things now (they even sell Quisp cereal again!) maybe cars will be next. Bench seats would be awesome! Would love to be able to cuddle up to the guy driving again vs cuddling up to a shifter, lol.

Hey, speaking of just straight nostalgic stuff...

Anyone else remember Screaming Yellow Zonkers?

A few years back I found some in a Walgreen's and just about lost it...but now I can't find them anymore (again.) They no longer had the cool plastic monster inside though...

I went looking for some but all I could come up with on ebay was this:

1983 Screaming Yellow Zonkers Aliens OFFER Box Space Creature Plastic Monster | eBay

I guess if there are any sorrows, they can be drowned in this:

Amazon.com : Hometown Favorites 1960's Nostalgic Candy Gift Box, Retro 60's Candy. : Hard Candy : Grocery & Gourmet Food

or this one:

Amazon.com : Candy Crate 1960's Retro Candy Gift Box : Gourmet Candy Gifts : Grocery & Gourmet Food

Being the hero wasn't in the cards today

I remember the name, not sure if I ever got any.

Hmmm...Lik'M'Aid, Pixie Sticks, and (not candy) that blob of multicolor, rubber-tirelike goo that you'd stick on the end of a short straw and blow into a balloon? Don't recall the product name.

I remember that stuff, I had that! I forget the name too. Pixie sticks were awesome, and so were Pop Rocks. I also loved Rock candy, which I think was just a huge hunk of crystallized sugar

More negative, really, comes to mind right off. Declining to post specifics.
On the other hand, I had the most amazing babysitter from toddler to 6yrs old. I can't begin to tell you all the cool stuff she did.
