No idea. She used to be here every day.

Same for me, especially here in city-data. I had a problem a few years ago in a thread I posted in regularly. A few regular posters of that thread took offence at me, and my attitude. Well, I can't help that...... as Popeye said, I yam what I yam.......

I left the thread, and a small group left with me, and it slowly died. They started up a new one much later, all enthusiasm, and wow, isn't this great? Well, the thread gradually lost most of the posters, and is now struggling once again.

But, I'm still here........... One of them sent me a rude rep ages ago........ I just laughed to myself.

Like my dear old dad used to say, "there's nowt as q ueer as folk." That's northern English dialect for those who don't know.......

I like you, for whatever that's worth. You seem a nice, honest, straightforward man to me.

Sometimes my feelings are a bit hurt when someone goes out of their way to say something rude or mean to me. They had to type that nasty comment. They thought about it--probably checked grammar and punctuation. I posted about that the other day.

I'm usually pretty nice, but there is a line. When someone crosses that line, I'm never quite sure what I'm going to do. Some of my posts are...no longer here.

I'm not terribly familiar with the Northern English dialect, but I would understand (maybe) what he said and know what he meant.

Q ueer wasn't a 'dirty' word years ago. I had a cousin named Gay.

Mine fields and a changing political landscape. PC is tiring.

I last talked to Synopsis in March 2008, on the phone. I had just moved to Tulsa, OK and he was helping me find better work, and resume tips. Mike was (is) a really great guy. Last I communicated with him was 2009, when he wnet through some tough times-I offered him to stay with me, but he thanked me and said his dog might cause concern. I miss him, really good dude. Wonder what he's up to these days. Whaever happened to GloryB, Jammie, Grannysroost, Cancerian Moon Princess, SierraAZ

dreamofmonterey. Also bullie62. Another one who always posted in purple font.

Some posters "sound" exactly as others who have disappeared. I recognize the same personality. Makes me wonder if some go away and return under a different user name. I know that is not allowed and can be stopped (ISP addresses among other ways) but I don't believe in coincidence. I can think of a few active posters on another forum that all sound like the same person.......

I miss a lot of people; some have left this earth and some have just left C-D. So many great people no longer here.....

Tonight I am thinking of Northwood Voyager. Such a precious lady.

Many, many moons ago - before I became a Moderator, and so many other things happened in my own life, I used to be a frequent "chatter". She was one of my favorites.

Hoping all is well, NWV.
