Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I didn't set out to be errrrr, like this. Whatever that means - LOL

I like the idea of going away for awhile and seeing what people say about me - Ha!

That's really cool, Diss! SCR has always been open about his past struggles and his current life, so it's darn near impossible to *not* be happy for the way that his life has been going as of late. New love, new house, new-ish job....life's been looking up for him.

I've never openly met any of the locals who post here on CD even though a several of them live very close to (and in some cases, in) my part of town. By "openly met" I mean that I *have* met one forum member at a professional event as that person uses their real surname here on City Data, but I didn't bring up the CD connection.

Does anyone believe in reincarnation? Because that's a thing on CD.
It wouldn't be the first poster to report their own death.

But yes, reincarnation happens frequently around here. Sometimes it's easy to figure out, other times not. All of you have "tells", as in poker. Phrases you use, words you misspell, styles of writing. You develop a spidey sense about them. I have one recurring troll who must have had a dozen names by now. I usually know when she is here, and I just wait until she misspells the same word the way she always does. Nobody else spells it that way.

Jet Jockey! Before she left, she posted under a different name, then gave up, lol. I think she left for grad school in engineering. Utterly brilliant woman! Funny, too. Would LOVE to know how she's doing & what she's up to!

You may be as unpleasantly surprised as I was. Gotta have thick skin here.

There was this poster named “urza” followed by some numbers. I think he was from the southwest suburbs of Chicago or maybe the southwest side, I don’t remember. I always enjoyed reading his posts.

Also, domergurl used to be the moderator of the Indiana forums and I just loved her. I sometimes wonder what happened that she stopped posting and how she’s doing. Maybe a moderator reading this post might know more about that.
