New Breed of telemarketers who won't let you speak?

I'm getting 3-4 calls per day and I don't know how to make them stop. It's crazy. This new breed of telemarketer will not let you say anything at all and acts like they don't hear you. It's really strange. Is anyone else getting these calls?

Sometimes they are not actual people. I like to say are you a real person? And the automated voice says of course I am a real person. But they do respond to DO NOT CALL LIST, so I don't understand yours.

My weird ones don't even give me time to answer and don't leave a message. I have no idea the point of those calls.

That would explain the behavior of many guys from India whom I've encountered online over the years. I remember one in particular from a now-defunct personal ads site - he messaged me with something very crass/sexual, I responded with saying I didn't appreciate being spoken to like that, and he got VERY upset/angry with me.

I remember reporting the guy to the administrators of the said website, and sending them a copy of the conversation, but I don't think they ever did anything about it.

There is a whole breed of target out here who won't answer the phone and let you speak unless the calling ID is someone they know. Tough to make a living since the marketing a$$e$ have destroyed perhaps the greatest human invention of all time. Really makes me believe in God. He has condemned humanity to be destroyed by its own ego.
