Trader Joe's sells a syrup variety that is around $10. That would be a nice, not overly expensive gift.
Or their frozen Nantucket Cranberry Pie that comes out seasonally is always nice. They also have a Rustic Cake out which is quality.
Try to pick an item that would only come out around this season normally like the ones mentioned above.
I say just give a lot of LOVE because after we're all done living that's the most precious gift.
"All you need is love,
Love is all you need!"
Many of us have gone through life without this, I should know.
I'm not creative enough to come up with a homemade thing. She and her husband and son do that for each other. None of them need material things. The only example I can remember is an Ariel photo of their lake house the son got from a drone and she blew that up and framed it for her hubby last year.
I tried to get her to take a nice piece from my mother's china collection - there is a stunning glass vase and some other nice pieces. She would have one of that because it's family stuff.
She doesn't want me to give her anything. But she has accepted that I am going to over the years. I'm not just going to be a taker regardless of income disparity.
Are there no local candy shops or bakeries or boutiques where you could get something a little more "curated," I guess? If you're talking about a friend who's particular about gifts, Amazon isn't very personal.

LOL she'd have to take me! That is another reason a gift is important. My car was stolen and I use Lyft sometimes, but she carts me around too.
My other friends live too far away.
For now I rely on delivery a lot to save on Lyfts and to spare my friend.
I broke down and asked please tell me something you'd enjoy! She said I have everything. Just don't.
She did say I could treat her at the restaurant Monday. We're going to see the lights and then eat and have a cocktail or two. On ME!
I still want to find a small gift. What about the gourmet cookies do you not like?
IDK. She's really picky. She re-gifts stuff all the time. I can't remember what they were anymore, the few gifts over the years she was all 'oh! This is neat'.
I've never seen her drink hot tea. She drinks iced tea.
