I will need to try and call them again after my phone charges. I just got off the phone and I wanted to ask two questions...the first was "how many weeks do I have remaining on EB?"...then I was going to get into the EB appt thing.
She put me on hold and then I lost connection. They're up to their old tricks again I see.
i was worried at first, the idiot who pulled me up at first told me YOU ARE BENEFITS EXHAUSTED and i said, GEE the Site shows im in eb with like 10 weeks left? and he was confused and transfered me to some one who was not completely brain dead!
I also got the message today when I filed so I called to see if I still needed to go in on Thurs. and the answer was "yes, you are on EB and need to come in". I thought so, I have gotten that message many times before.
So that's...one for does still have to go, one for doesn't have to go.
Jeez...
I'm on hold now...I didn't call my local office though. Maybe it's smart to go right to the source and not some general rep at the customer service number. I'll probably call them next just to make sure I hear the same thing.
Annnnnd I just got off the phone with a woman from the main customer service number. She kind of hesitated a bit...but she said, "Well, I'd assume you'd still have to go in...they want to see your work search records." "They" meaning my local office. So, I'll try my local office up just to make sure, but it so far sounds like the appointment is still necessary.
so confusing... i mean my local office (the ones who r supposed to review my EB weeks said NOT to come in? so now what)?
You called again and they told you the same thing? Perhaps it could just be your office...I dunno...I can't seem to get thru to the Raleigh local office yet. Ugh, so frustrating.
