I really believe the best chance this has of getting heard and presented on the news, is for those of you that have cameras to tell your stories. Let them see how bad we are hurting and post on You Tube then go viral with the links and videos. Send them to every email address you have, lets our voices be heard. talking to a governors aid or a secretary in these elected officials offices aren't getting through, those messages probably go straight in the trash. Same with our emails. The news paper is great and we need to continue on all fronts, but It's time to try something new.*
There may be a large number of people who have lost the ability to communicate. You'd have noway of getting information with no computer, cellphone, or electricity. I also think we should call Berger's office and ask "how could you dismiss so early, when you know people are being evicted and going hungry"? Do they really think that people can keep holding out for someone to stand up?
Great Job here today people. If you google North Carolina Unemployment, the press is writing article upon article on our situation. Pay attention and see that we have been also covered by the Associated Press, which is a big positive in itself. I contacted Nancy Webb and gave her my story for publication. I encourage all of you to do the same. Charlotte is a big metropolis in North Carolina, and the Charlotte Observer is read throughout the state and beyond. I have included all contact information below. Keep up the spirit and hard work, and watch and see, IT WILL PAY OFF ! ! ! Nancy Webb

Thanks Greg for being optimistic and vigilant. I hope your right.
And I hope something is going on behind the scenes to restore benefits. I am sure Rep Linda was correct about this.
Bad press kills Campaigns. Old people, who are the highest demographic of voters and political participants read this...people who pay any mind to politics read this....
Both parties look like cruel and manipulative. I am eager to see the "solution".
I wonder if the bill can be tied to anything that the House is hearing today? Or is it something that the Senate also has to have a hand in? Or could the Governor just do something on her own, with no participation from either? What is really bothersome is seeing the Senate just leave again like they did yesterday!!!
