It will be interesting to see what people select for schools. The choices are 2 days in person and 2 days virtual or 100% virtual. It seems pretty split on Facebook. Mostly it’s families with two working parents pissed about not having childcare.

Too soon IMO to be moving to Phase 3.

I think distancing and mask wearing during Phase 3 remain key. That and just being smart. Look at our numbers. We know how to do it, we just need to keep doing what we know has been working. NoVA, and the entire state for that matter, have an opportunity to set an example of how we can manage a balance socially and economically during Phase 3.

I went down Herndon Parkway and the parking lots seemed mostly empty for the larger companies. The smaller townhouse office suites, which I assume housed medical, legal, accounting, and other services, had more of the lots full. Traffic is very light.

With all due respect, and while I can't get enough of the daily lchoro grocery store report (no meat here, a few paper towels here), Northern Virginia is about to enter Phase 3. I imagine that every single person on this thread has moved off of the couch and left the house for some reason or another and knows what is going on in the world. I'm not sure anyone is relying on an eyewitness reporter to relay information on the density of parking lots and traffic.

There is a lot of confusion since there is an inherent conflict between maintaining social distancing requirements and Phase 3 dismissal of the cap on the restrictions on capacity. You can't do both.

But, he's doing what's promised. Cases are dropping at a good rate so he'd have no reason to stay at Phase 2. I guess we'll see how Phase 3 with mask compliance works as opposed to Phase 3 with no compliance such as the surging states are experiencing.
Yes.
Hey Virginia! Don’t be a Florida.

Agree - couldn't rep some of you again but it is TOO soon to open up stores, restaurants, etc. to full capacity!

Well...If anyone has seen sanitizing wipes anywhere, I sure would like to know. I've yet to see them when I go out shopping.
