You're thinking of UMD, College Park. UMUC is actually a pretty good online, distance learning school; however they are NOT the same school as UMD, College Park but will often use the same professors. Their guidance offices used to be on the College Park campus but not sure anymore.

I've looked them up before. I have an actual campus. I know most of their students is online however.

I don't live in the Nova area...how is that college perceived down there? BTW...I work in the federal government.

I have taken about 8 classes through them, many years ago. They do not have the negative connotation like Phoenix does.
