I don't recall now what we had at the Rainbow, but it wasn't bad. Better than Mickey D. It just wasn't cheap compared to what we have here...lol

That road that goes around the base of Diamond Head, and along the coast line more or less. Is that considered millionaires row? Sure has some high dollar homes along through there.

They have a flight that goes out of Travis to Alaska, then onto Hawai'i. I think next year we will take it to AK first and spend a week, maybe two. Then catch it onto Hawai'i and check out the BI and maybe others. Any suggestions on where to go on the BI and to also looking into maybe finding a place to rent for a while. May keep it year round and just fly back and forth. Spend winters there and use our RV that we just bought to travel around the mainland in the Summer.

Maybe O' D would put me up if he hasn't floated away in lava, lava land.......lol.

The road around Diamond Head takes you to Black Point - and the price of entry is among the highest on Oahu. If you have to ask how much you can't afford it - most places are $10 million plus

Thanks Viper, that's what I kinda figured just driving around that area one day. Sure some nice homes though, reminded me of driving around some areas o SFO and LA. Is that the only area on Oahu that is priced like that, or are there others?

Lots of places like that on Oahu. Portlock, North Shore, Kailua, Hawaii Loa Ridge, Kahala and more.

Thanks Viper, I am surprised that there are so many high end places there. I thought there was just a few. My goal now is to find a place somewhere there on the islands and just use it as a base to go back and forth to. Probable spend seven or eight months of the year there all told. Need to figure out how I want to go about it.
