Hi Beavercreek....our weather up here has been hot for the last 2 weeks meaning 80+ -- a somewhat different heat then there (very little humidity when it gets that hot). However, it's now in high 60's which I like better.

What kind of work do you do? BTW looks like MaryBeth2 is busy getting into her new home which is a gooood thing.

Well, its because I'm always questioning "why are we here" and "where are we going" or "is Carl Sagan right about the universe?" Actually there is suppose to be a (?) question mark on the end, but the MOD forgot to put it on there. EarthBound?

I like to think thats there more to life than birth, live, multiply, die, earth, heaven and hell. Watch the movie (K-Pax) sometime and tell me what you think about "US". Its based on one of Carl Sagan's theories.

I will definitely get that movie; sounds interesting. I have always questioned the same things although in all honesty, I don't believe in evolution. My husband jokes we are all an "ant scientific project." However, I do believe in reincarnation. I talked about it once on the Religious Forums and they just had a fit lol. I try to be open-minded but some of those folks were extremely narrow-minded.

I read a book years ago, can't remember the name of it, but it talked about how we on Earth were left behind from an alien civiliation.

My husband said he has seen the movie but wouldn't tell me about it so I could form my own opinion.

I am a computer programmer for CareSource in Downtown Dayton. And I hope everything is going well for MaryBeth in the move!

LOL you tend to run into narrow-minded people like that in those kind of forums.

I will also have to check out that movie, it sounds very interesting.

Boy, your right about how some folks can be narrow minded in that thread, talking about havin blinders on. .

I'm a believer in reincarnation myself. If this planet of ous is a penal colony from another place in this or another universe, then it would only make sense that your reincanated over and over until you get it right and called back home for good. In the movie "K-Pax" he talks about useing beams of light as a conduit highway and traveling through space and time in the blink of an eye. Doesn't that sound like the tunnel of light that people talk about when they have a near death experience?

I also believe that we have a equal spirit or form that we share as an opposite. My wife gets a kick out of the fact that I have this recurring dream that seems to progress each time I have it. The person thats on the other end of the dream is a gorgeous brunette woman thats coming out of a shower, but when she wipes the mist away from the mirror and looks at herself, "its my eyes that shes looking through". Now ain't that just spooky ?
