Have driven the 500 many times and it is what it is. Great little runabout car especially for urban living. If you are a healthy girl and or have friends/husband who is the car isn't for you and probably neither will be the slightly larger (just) 500L.

That being said the 500L is a bit more roomy for gear and stuff than the 500, but it suffers from the same lack of quality. Lots of plastic and just looks cheaply put together inside. On anything but smooth road you get more giggles than a pole dancer with bulging thighs.

car is a hunk of Junk, and dangerously small even for urban driving ! how would you like to get hit by an F150 or an old woman driving a Caddy DTS ?

Even the network of dealers doesn't seem as developed when you could buy a nice Fiat 124 coupe or convertible in the 1970s. Besides it's butt ugly

The 500L is cute but holy cow, 0-60 in 10 seconds??? I know not everyone needs a tire blisterer but I'd at least like to be able to merge into traffic the same day I hit the gas pedal.

Also the Veloster is cool but I thought I read somewhere there is known issue about them (transimission maybe?). A warranty is good and everything but that just means you dont have to pay for repairs. It doesnt really mean you wont NEED repairs and be without the car. Dont take my word for it though. I might be remembering it wrong.

Mazda 3 does nothing for you? I have no experience with it except that I saw a commercial for one while I was typing.

I will check the Mazdas as well. I know Imust be weird because I love how the Fiat 500L and veloster look. I mean ,e very other car on the road is similar to the next, all sedans look the same, all SUVs look the same, pretty boring if you ask me!

The C-Max looks okay, a little bit minivan-ish on the back though….
