Lol...thanks. Dare someone say my babies are ugly! the other pics of the fiat are just after I waxed & detailed it. It's truly a deep jet black, no grey or green hue at all. It's pretty.

Well have driven both the Fiat 500 (but not the L) and Kia Soul and the latter beats the Fiat by miles. In fact have not read one *professional* review of the 500L that had much good to say about the thing. This included WSJ, Sunday NYT, and so forth.

OTOH nearly everyone loves the Kia Soul, especially the 2014 model which by the way is running sales circles around the Fiat 500L.

Fiat's 500L falls flat while Kia's Soul soars - latimes.com

IMHO the Kia Soul feels and acts like more car for the money when compared to the Fiat 500. Fit, finish and details also are better in the Kia as well. Cargo space? The Kia Soul beats the Fiat 500 especially when you fold down the rear seats.

The Soul is a great grocery getter. They have been gobbling up market share on those things for the past two to three years.

Any worse than Fix Or Repair Daily?

My friends in LA have one of the Fiat 500e electrics. They're totally in love with it. Their other car is a modified Audi R8. Depends if they want to go fast or go cheap which one they use.

The 500L is very popular here in England. I see lots of them, mainly driven by women. My wife has a Fiat 'Panda'....... loves it.

Exactly.

I know someone who has among his fleet a 200 mph Bentley Flying Spur.

However he enjoys going round the local lanes in his Fiat 500.

I don't think it's a particularly ugly car. It's mildly pleasant to look at, actually. But the company's ad glorifying Immigration, and ridiculing Americans who object to it, was deeply offensive. DH is highly contemptuous of Italian autos (and the people who drive them - particularly jackasses in Ferraris). Nonetheless, when that ad came out, I listed all cars from that parent company, and posted that list on the fridge DH uses most often. Santa knows not to bring me a Maserati.

It's amazing that nothing made by that parent company is anything other than an unreliable piece of junk - marginal brands marketed to marginal people of various income levels.

Anyway, despite my HATRED for Fiat, I don't think the car in the Original Post is uglier than most of the cars I see on the road. 'Cool', by the way, is not synonymous with 'beauty'.

Voted by whom?

What makes you the authority on vehicular design? You're asking a question about a problem that arose in your own mind, but are asking it as if though it was a widely-accepted issue. The car looks fine. Not to mention it doesn't exist, except in the mind of the people who photoshopped it. Where'd you get this image, anyways?
