Today's Questions:

What’s your favorite sound to wake up to in the morning? Coffee perking.

What’s the last sound that woke you up and had you looking for something to throw? Don't recall any.

Bonus Questions:

Are you a ‘morning person'? No.

If you’re not, do you or have you ever lived with one? No.

If you are, do you or have you ever lived with someone who isn’t?

<If you answered yes, how do/did you work around it?>

Do you like to fall asleep to
TV?
Radio?
The sounds of nature?
Silence?

When you’re sleeping, do you prefer
Total darkness?
Night lights?

When you have trouble falling asleep, is there anything special you do to help? Watch TV.

Just for Fun:

Use the ‘Word of the Day’ in a sentence. Our whole political system is nonsense.

Aaah Saturday, good day to sleep in...

Today's Questions:

What’s your favorite sound to wake up to in the morning?
I prefer waking up to silence.

What’s the last sound that woke you up and had you looking for something to throw?
I don't believe anything has woke me up in awhile, now trying to
get to sleep, that's another story since I have crazy shifts at work.

Bonus Questions:
Are you a ‘morning person'?
Yes I am!
If you’re not, do you or have you ever lived with one?
If you are, do you or have you ever lived with someone who isn’t? My
ex was not a morning person.
<If you answered yes, how do/did you work around it?> I preferred it quiet in the mornings, that was 'my time', he's a night owl and I'm not,
so I guess, that was 'his time'.

Do you like to fall asleep to
TV? No. My sister-in-law has to have the TV on when she's going to sleep. When she stays over, I sneak in to turn it off, I swear it wakes her up, and she turns it back on. I try and put her in the room furthest from me.
Radio? No but I used to listen to the radio whilst falling asleep, when I was a teen.
The sounds of nature? Sometimes if I'm on the beach, I do like to open the doors and hear the ocean, that's peaceful enough.
But....I prefer
Silence?

When you’re sleeping, do you prefer
Total darkness?
Night lights?

When you have trouble falling asleep, is there anything special you do to help? A nice warm soak in the tub w/ a glass of wine. Having 'Unsolved Mysteries' in the background sometimes helps, I think it's the
drone of his voice. Lately when I have to try and sleep mid-day, I get some sleep after dinner, eating always makes me sleepy.

Just for Fun:

Use the ‘Word of the Day’ in a sentence.
It is just utter nonsense that I have to work when we turn the clocks back tonight. Grrrrr

I like to wake and fall asleep to the sound of rain falling outside our bedroom window, I
find it a relaxing sound. I like just a bit of light through the curtains. If I have trouble falling
asleep, I imagine I am walking through a small village in Rhodes, Greece called Afandou. We
have been there many times. In my mind I start at the village cemetary, then I walk up the
main street past the shops, bars and tavernas to the church in the middle of the village. Today is Guy Fawlkes day here in England. Tonight all over the country there will be bonfires
and fireworks displays. Used to scare my poor cat to death! She used to go hide behind the
sofa, sadly, she died earlier this year. I sure miss her.

rain - as long as I don't have to go out in it.

Godzilla clomping in the apartment above me.

Bonus Questions:
Are you a ‘morning person'?

It's 5:30A on a Saturday and here I am having cereal and typing on my PC the QOTD answers, so yes.

If you are, do you or have you ever lived with someone who isn’t?
<If you answered yes, how do/did you work around it?>

Not lived with someone who wasn't but while on vacation and staying with friends it made me crazy. Not that I blame them, it's just different lifestyles. The things I like to do are done early in the morning. If I'm driving any distance, I'm out before the sun comes up. I used to fish when I was married and we were always out the door and on the water when the sun came up. Now retired, I photograph wildlife. The birds are active right after the sun comes up. I also like to photograph fishermen surf casting, surfers, pigeons and bums on the boardwalk, etc., while I'm on vacation. As soon as the crowds hit the beach, I'm out of there. I'm usually up and out when the sun comes up when on vacation and they are just getting in gear around 11:00A. If I go to a casino on vacation, I like to go around 8:00A when it's not crowded. If I'm doing a few hour tour, I always do the first one in the morning. The following years, I didn't stay with them. We just met up later in the afternoon and evenings for dinner and I did my things in the morning, solo. It was better that way. I still love them to death.

Do you like to fall asleep to
TV?
Radio?
The sounds of nature?
Silence?

Wellllllll, there is no TV, radio, alarm clock in my bedroom, however, dozing off while watching TV in the livingroom at night is not uncommon.

I like the sound of rain.

When you’re sleeping, do you prefer
Total darkness?
Night lights?

Only within the last year have I had a night light. No preference.

When you have trouble falling asleep, is there anything special you do to help?

Don't have trouble falling asleep. Have trouble staying asleep.

Just for Fun:

Use the ‘Word of the Day’ in a sentence.

The word of the day is nonsense.

Today's Questions:

What’s your favorite sound to wake up to in the morning? In college I had a radio that was set to wake me up with music, no alarm. Now I'd say the birds singing. If we hadn't had so much rain then it would also be the sound of soft rain.

What’s the last sound that woke you up and had you looking for something to throw?
Alarm clock. My ex used to hit the snooze several times, always going back to sleep. I haven't used an alarm since divorcing him!

Bonus Questions:
Are you a ‘morning person'? No

If you’re not, do you or have you ever lived with one? No, people I've lived with have all been night owls.

When you have trouble falling asleep, is there anything special you do to help?
I don't have trouble falling asleep. I have more trouble staying asleep the older I get. Anyone have any remedies for that? With turning the clocks back tonight we'll all be losing an hour of sleep.

Just for Fun:

Use the ‘Word of the Day’ in a sentence.
There are times I laugh and times I just shake my head at the nonsense the fifth grade boys get into at recess.
