Does anyone remember telephone credit cards, with the letter at the end keyed to the last digit of the phone number?

Yes! Mine has my 10 digit phone number followed by a 4 digit number, though. The phone company has merged twice since this card was issued. Prior to visiting Hays, Kansas in 2012, I contacted the phone company to find out if it was still valid. They did not know.

I remember when clothes, sweaters, even socks were in glass counters and you had to ask to get one out and look at it. I'm thinking May Co. and Broadway in LA.

The 1960s. I didn't get to France until 1974 or '75.

I remember when Kodak Instamatic was the new camera and the rage, that would have been summer 1966. Getting four-sided flash cubes was a treat. I was brought to Alexanders when camp ended in August 1966 for this treat, after going to Friendly's for a Fribble.
