and gurdles, chasity belts?, barettes, pointed rim glasses, liatards.
My mother wore a girdle every time she got dressed up. I wore one, too, until the early 1960's. I thought they were more comfortable than garter belts for holding stockings up. Never wore harlequin glasses (or any glasses in those days) but my mother had a pair. Yes.....barrettes, bobby pins, hair nets. I even had a snood when I was a teenager.

I couldn't wear a girdle because then I wouldn't be able to bend over far enough to shovel the gutters in the barn.
I remember Royal Crown Cola in big 12 oz. bottles. Haven't seen an RC in years now.
Its hard to find sodas in glass bottles anymore. So sad. There is a ma and pa store here in town though that does carry some and thats where mine come from. Id rather just drive a few blocks and support the 'little guy' than drive 2 miles to support the million dollar corporation that doent give you glass bottles as an option.
Does anyone remember creme rinse that came in big yellow jars and you had to dip your fingers in there to scop it out? I miss those.

Does anyone remember finding crystal clear marbles on the railroad tracks?
They say they were created by coal dust and axle grease from the train.
