Yes to most of those things. We're probably about the same age.

I remember upgrading my first computer (TRS-80 Model I) to 16k RAM and thinking it was a lot of memory.

My current computer has a million times the RAM as my first computer.

I knew that but I almost never see "blonde" anymore, just "blond". And I rarely saw "blond" 50 years ago, just "blonde".

But I remember the comic strip "Blondie".

I remember sleeping outside when it was too hot because we didn't have central air except opening doors and windows.

At one time, that was the norm.

I never had a pinafore, but I did have to wear another type of torture device, the dreaded crinoline! Mine actually had inflatable rings in it.

OMG, the horror!

I remember when men had a natural respect for women and there were certain things they just wouldn't do or say in mixed company.

My pinafore was of the "Sunday best" variety and that's usually when I wore it--to Sunday school. I didn't have the bonnet, just the pinafore. I wore a little blue blouse under it. My mom made almost all of our clothes. Which brings to mind another "I remember....."

I remember when it was much cheaper to make clothes at home rather than buy them in a clothing store. Today that is reversed. It is much more expensive to make your clothing yourself than to buy it.

My mother made my pants, one size fits all, I had to roll up the legs.
Like Tom Sawyer.
