I remember..

..getting a 'hand me down' 12" black and white tv with no knob and pliers to change the channels.

..standing near the console tv and holding the foil wrapped antenna in just the perfect position so that dad could get his best view of Red Skelton.

..thinking I looked cool in my Levi stretch jeans, Maddress shirt and All Star sneakers.

..buying original Tonka Trucks, Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys, Cape Canaveral Set, Erector Set, Hoola Hoop, Slinky, Play Dough and Leisure Suits.

I remember when I didn't know who Osama Bin Laden was,

I remember asking my parents in the 70s what a terrorist was

I remember when I didn't have to almost dis-rob to get into a court house to pay a ticket or get on a plane.
