I remember cars had the dimmer switch for the bright lights was on the floor and not the switch on the stick.
My first car was a '65 Ford Fairlane. I had passengers who thought it was pretty neat that I had "intermittent" or multi-speed wipers. All I had to do was remember to just touch the little pedal on the floor that operated the windshield washer and the wiper blades would make a pass across the windshield. If I pushed it too hard though, the washer fluid would spray out and the secret was out of the bag. The pedal was right next to the dimmer switch. I don't know how many times I washed my windshield when I intended to dim my headlights.

No. Car phones--or mobile phones, I think they were called, at first--were actual phone units installed in cars and you used them like a regular telephone. Just dial your number and the phone would start ringing. This was before cell phone towers came into existence.

I remember when vehicles had hood orniments. "57" Chevy had jets on the hood.
