I'm so old I remember helping Al Jolson with arranging his music in the 'Jazz Singer".

Ten cents? How much did it cost without the hanger? That sounds a bit steep.

Not on my watch. My laser eyed, extremely intelligent older brother got me served when I was 16.

Keep in mind that during WW11 there was a demand for metal for the war needs.

Side note..when in NK (1951), we were still firing ammo from WW 1.
You would think that stuff gone during the 2nd War.

Then again, what do I know being a relic of #2 and Korea

My old bunker is in the middle of the DMZ. ( have photos)

I remember having an 8-track in my first car.

Waiting for a new record to be released then going to the record store the day it's released and they already sold out. I was always at the record store, also bought rock posters and concert tickets there.

It was especially fun to try and talk with the clerk at the record store to find out when the next shipment of records would be in, he usually had Zeppelin cranked up and wasn't going to turn it down to have a conversation with a customer !
