Exactly! I cannot stand entitled drivers who cannot respectfully share the road with pedestrians. I mean really! Can't they just wait the few seconds just to allow the pedestrians to cross safely when it's their turn???!!!

My favorite book store is closing; Not just the one that I always go to, but several of the other close by locations. Borders Books will be closing a number of stores and filling chapter 11 to reorganize. It’s sad to say the least that this has to occur at all but the only stores left are outside of my normal area of driving and commuting when shopping.

I guess this is a consequence of the fact that electronic books are gaining in popularity. I personally prefer to read books the traditional way and shudder to think that this may become obsolete.

Yeah ... I hate it when I say something witty and it flies completely over someone's head. They give me that annoying blank stare which causes me to feel that sense that I just said something stupid.

Well, I realize that I'm somewhat unusual, but when that happens to me, which is often, I feel a sense of confident satisfaction!

Or they think they're being insulted because they didn't get the joke. If I want to insult someone, by God, there will be no doubt! LOL

I just returned from the store and running several errands this morning and why is it that “people have to park their vehicles so close to mine (or yours) to make it nearly impossible to enter the drivers side?” I looked at the white lines marking the space for each vehicle and “they” allowed plenty of room for “themselves” to exit their drivers side. Nice,,, thank you as$hole. Next time I have to crawl over the console from the passenger side in an effort to drive away I’ll remember to “ding” your door as I’m backing out.

Don’t other drivers in AZ know that it’s legal to carry weapons without a permit in the state? More AZ drivers carry Glocks than any other gun of choice.

I had to take Mrs Aks to the dentist’s office to have two caps put on her teeth this morning. It took a little over two hours for this work to get done. Ouch she was hurting afterward.

On another issue:
I send a payment into the billing office for my doctor who had performed some texts and exams months ago. They had given me an updated address for the mailing of the payment. However that address was incorrect and the check went to another doctor’s office instead of the billing center. I drove over to retrieve my check today and mailed it to the correct address. Let’s see if the doctor gets paid this time.
However I’m not happy with being given the wrong mailing address for payments! And of course this payment was being made out of my pocket because the secondary insurance UHC doesn’t think that I should be covered for “that” procedure. UHC “always” denies coverage on medical issues for me.
