As a female, I like the looks of some of those men, going bald with a decent, nicely trimmed mustache and/or beard ala Pernell Roberts, Sean Connery,....

And yet, they wish to be my friend on Facebook, and never comment on my posted weekly recap? Go figure!

My one cousin comes here twice a year to party from dusk til dawn, and uploads his Vegas partying photo's.

I put far more stock in friendship, and say all you want, blood is not thicker than water!
Reminds me of my family ... I live 70 miles from my sister and I always find out that she's in my local area but rarely stops by to visit (unless she wishes to borrow money...) I'm a lot more closer to my friends versus family members, unfortunately.

My pet peeve for today is people who cannot go the speed limit and running through school bus stops.

This morning my daughter and I were waiting at the bus to stop. It's a great big yellow vehicle with flashing red lights, but the bus driver still had to honk at a woman who just didn't see it. Once she did see it she was almost in front of us (she did stop well). I live in a residential neighborhood where the speed limit is 30mph yet everyone goes about 45mph especially in the morning when everyone is going to school??
This is not the first time this has happened either. I can't understand why people are not more observant.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Horrible analogy to defend your argument. Something is always missing in the equation.

Oh yeah, I know how that feels. I cut these kind of people out of my life.

You might think such analogies are horrible. But I think they're creative. It shows they think outside the box.

I've been known to use analogies that some people think are bad, but it's just me thinking outside the box and trying to get people to understand my point.

Pet peeve: Couples that walk on the sidewalk holding hands. Not only are they in my way, but I can't pass them because they take up the entire sidewalk.

Pet peeve: When a poster claims you're wrong, then you prove yourself right but the other poster refuses to acknowledge the fact that you were right.

They may help you to think outside of the box, but like I said, something is always missing in the equation. If something is missing, it doesn't work to defend your argument.

Pet peeve: When people deactivate their facebook account. Since they're not deleting me, I don't take it personally. But my friend count goes down. I want a high friend count on facebook.
