Have you ever gone up to someone you didn't know to ask them about something that caught your eye ?
Maybe their haircut, something they were wearing, something they were doing etc....
Yes, I definitely have. I asked someone once about a double stroller where the kid in the back can either stand up or sit down.
Was their response:
Polite, they answered your question ? Yes, they were very nice.
You got more information that you needed ?
They just walked away ?
How cool !! you ended up with a new friend ?

Bonus Question:

How many different magazines do you read each month ?
Lately I have been reading more books, but I do subscribe to about 4 magazines....
Do you have a subscription or do you buy them at the store ?
Subscription
Extra Credit Question:

Ok fess up !!
How many of our QOTD family wants to put up their Christmas tree now ?
Not me! As much as I love it, I need to get through Thanksgiving first, and plus I hate pushing one Holiday up before the prior one.
Whats the earliest you have put your tree up ?
A few weeks before Christmas.

Happy Saturday to you too Karla! As well as everyone else . I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend so far. We are planning on driving up to Mt. Baldy today...I am looking forward to it!

Today's Question(s):

Have you ever gone up to someone you didn't know to ask them about something that caught your eye ? I have, but I don't so much anymore. People are more reserved here. Neighbors don't say hi etc. So I find myself becoming more reserved. I think when we move to the South I will approach people more as I think that goes along more w/ the culture there.
Maybe their haircut, something they were wearing, something they were doing etc.... Many things...probably a cute haircut or a cute outfit oh and DEFINITELY cute kids/babies. I'm in "THAT" stage

Was their response:
Polite, they answered your question ? Usually this one.
You got more information that you needed ? Sometimes.
They just walked away ? I don't think this has ever happened.
How cool !! you ended up with a new friend ? Actually I think so a few times.

Bonus Question:

How many different magazines do you read each month ? None on a regular basis. Hubby gets the golf one but he rarely reads it. We take them on the plane though when we have to travel. My Mom has been giving me her Marie Claire magazines each month when she finishes them and they are actually a pretty good read.

Do you have a subscription or do you buy them at the store ? Only one subscription comes to this house (Golf Digest).

Extra Credit Question:

Ok fess up !!
How many of our QOTD family wants to put up their Christmas tree now ? I do but chances of me getting around to it NOW are pretty slim. My Mom is coming out next weekend to help me finish unpacking though, and I'm sure she'd like to help me decorate too .

Whats the earliest you have put your tree up ? Probably not before Thanksgiving.

I've gone up to people I don't know and have asked about their tattoos (I have 5).

Most people will carry on a decent conversation.

I subscribe to 2 magazines a month.

I don't decorate for Christmas any longer since my kids are grown and I'm on my own.

I don't read the ones I get. I save them and take them with me to my off-grid vacation property so I have something to do rather than watch tv or play on the computer. Those are not allowed when I am "on vacation" or otherwise at a "sanity retreat."

....
At a Sanity Retreat? Are they allowed at the Insanity Retreat? I could use 'em this weekend!

Today's Question(s):

This has likely been so long that I highly doubt I could remember.

Bonus Question:

How many different magazines do you read each month ? Three. A blues magazine (bi-monthly), AARP, and the local blues newsletter.

Do you have a subscription or do you buy them at the store ? All are subscriptions.

Extra Credit Question:

Ok fess up !!
How many of our QOTD family wants to put up their Christmas tree now ? Nope! Not until the second weekend of Dec.

Whats the earliest you have put your tree up ? 1st weekend in Dec. My neighbor has theirs up the day after Thanksgiving, without fail. However, she takes theirs down the day after Xmas while mine comes down 2nd wknd of Jan.

Today in History:
1929 - Museum of Modern Art opens in New York City Oh, man, I LOVE this museum! I wanna go back to see more of it.
1976 - "Gone With the Wind" televised Wonder why it took so long???

I have 3 pin-ups, 1 for the Air Force and 1 is a heart with wings. I agree with not enough. I'm planning on getting more.
