Today's Question(s):

Have you ever gone up to someone you didn't know to ask them about something that caught your eye ?
Maybe their haircut, something they were wearing, something they were doing etc.... For multiple reasons.Nice looking pet, or to find out where they acquired something. I'm not shy.

Was their response: It varies with the person, from outright rude to very sweet and talkative.
Polite,they answered your question ?
You got more information that you needed ?
They just walked away ?
How cool !! you ended up with a new friend ?

Bonus Question:

How many different magazines do you read each month ? Used to read up to twenty a month, from subscriptions, friends, library etc.. I don't have time to read much now.

Do you have a subscription or do you buy them at the store ?

Extra Credit Question:

Ok fess up !!
How many of our QOTD family wants to put up their Christmas tree now ? NOT ME! Stores start shoving stuff at you earlier and earlier. They have made me so sick of Christmas it turns my stomache. By the time it gets here it is no longer enjoyable. If it is a christian holiday leave it at that or call it what it has become, another retail money grabbing day. I'm still sick over that young man being trampled to death over black friday. Black souls is more like it. Sorry for the rant!

Whats the earliest you have put your tree up ? A week before Christmas and take it down the day after. Now I don't even bother.

Hey, yeh ~ that just gave me MY answer to those questions!

Two years ago I noticed tattoos all over this guy, interesting tattoos of various "Indians", Jesus, New Agey stuff. . . So I just went up to him and asked if I could take a look. He paused graciously and let me take my time. Most of them were quite beautiful.

We don't have children but still enjoy the Christmas tree.

Today's Question(s):
Have you ever gone up to someone you didn't know to ask them about something that caught your eye ?
From a bashful childhood I've grown to be able to strike up a conversation with strangers. I don't normally ask about how they look. I'm lucky if I remember to comb my own hair.

Bonus Question:
How many different magazines do you read each month ? Do you have a subscription or do you buy them at the store ?
One or two at random. No subscriptions.

Was their response:
Polite,they answered your question ? Polite. I saw a woman at the mall whose haircut I adored. Asked her the usual questions about it then asked her if I could take her picture...front, side and back to show my hairdresser. I assured her I wasn't a weirdo or stalker and she laughed and said 'go ahead and take my picture'. I did and the next time I got my haircut, my hairdresser gave me a cut just like that womans!
You got more information that you needed ?
They just walked away ?
How cool !! you ended up with a new friend ?

Bonus Question:

How many different magazines do you read each month ? Weight Watchers, Oprah's magazine, OK magazine and Food Network magazine.

Do you have a subscription or do you buy them at the store ?
I only have a subscription to the WW magazine. The others I 'borrow' from the store shelf to read during my lunch hour.
