I haven't splurged much recently, to be honest. Spouse and I bought a small curio cabinet a few months ago to hold all of our oddments, and that was probably the most recent splurge.
Bonus Question:
How many of our QOTD family watched "Laugh in"

Reruns?
This is actually a television show I've seen, albeit decades ago. I watched the original on my parents' tiny B&W television when I was young.
Extra Credit Question:
What exciting plans do you have for the weekend?
Well, most folks likely wouldn't describe them as exciting, but we do have a rather full weekend ahead. Tonight we'll eat downtown and then attend a concert by the Emerson String Quartet. Tomorrow morning our daughter will join us for breakfast, and then she and we will head out to the western edge of the state to see our son. He turned 25 earlier this week, so we'll take him out for his birthday dinner tomorrow evening. And since he got his tax forms earlier this week, I'll also oversee his tax filing online. We'll be back late tomorrow evening, then we'll spend Sunday washing clothes and cleaning house.
See? Not exciting at all. But we'll have fun anyway.
