Whoa! I missed out on some real hair-pulling last night!

OK. The peanut allergy thingy wasn't directed at ANYONE. Personal attacks just aren't my style. And epi-pens were in my head because I was sicker than a dog yesterday afternoon with my allergies and asthma. (The winter "Brown Cloud" is hanging over my area.) I was getting worse and worse so I finally used MY epi-pen last evening so I wouldn't have to go to the ER. Epi-pens and I don't get along as it also raises my heart rate which causes another problem and blah, blah, blah.

Considering what I'm allergic to and the horror stories I have to tell going back 50 years with my own health I'm going to be the last person on earth to mock the afflicted. But sometimes a little humor can get you through the night. Or asthma attack.

I also made references to Hawiian Punch and Fritos so I'm afraid to check that thread.

But! Feeling all right this morning. Going to re-stock my Vicks vapo-rub. (I smelled LOVELY last night.) Hoping to get started with my Christmas decorating.

Hope you each have a great day!

DewDrop aka Most Definitely NOT A Pancake Butt

p.s. I'm willing to take Brady Q. because, lets face it, he's cuter than a bug.

I think humor is an excellent way to lighten things up. It also is really important to be able to laugh at ourselves and take things with a grain of salt. Life it too short to get riled up about stuff..

Vicks has been my friend lately too Dew....We had enough wind yesterday to blow the brown cloud away...

You can take Brady, as long as you send pics of him working out sans jersey.... (I'm sure he'd be willing to provide a few).

cheerbaby...if, post pregancy, you need a small "donation" to your "pancake butt"....DM me...we'll talk.

OK....my roast and carrots are in the crockpot, it's time for me to hit the mountain of laundry that seems to have magically appeared and haul the last of the boxes from Christmas decorating back down to the basement.

One exciting thing after another over here....

OMG, tell me about it! Where does the laundry come from? It's downright frightening!

I haven't formulated my to-do list for today yet, but I already started laundry because laundry is always on it.

How would any of you feel if a teacher called you bitter. Like the teacher of a class you where paying to take.

Probably would depend on the context. Just because you are paying for a class doesn't mean the prof has to like you or refrain from making an honest (or what s/he feels is honest) assessment - as long as it's in the context of the class....Now, if they just for no reason, stop you as you are exiting the classroom and point out that you are looking mighty bitter today, then I'd probably wonder some.

Oh, please, do unload and tell us why she called you that.

Maciesmom and Hopes were both buried by laundry and I've decided that having seven LARGE boxes of Christmas Village pieces to set artfully around the house means I'm an idiot.

Depending on the context in which it was said, I might shug it off as the teacher having a bad day, or I might realize she is right and try to change for the better.

I agree with Maciesmom that the fact you are paying for school is irrelevant.
