Yes - I guess all the "speculating" by the media that they just grew apart and didn't know what to do after not being Governor and First Lady any longer wasn't right! I wonder why bring it out publicly at this point?

BTW - I just read that the world is apparently ending this Saturday which is a huge bummer since we are celebrating our anniversary this weekend.... sigh....

Aah yes, the Rapture ETA May 21st. I have a friend who says a large group of them proselytize every day outside a Brooklyn subway station. He's going to go and talk to them on the 22nd and see what they have to say!

Bummer. I guess you should have planned for that when you chose the day to marry years ago, huh?

Congratulations anyway! Enjoy your anniversary while it lasts!

lol! Well tell me what he finds out - although I'm sure they won't be hanging out any longer when they are wrong.

My DH said the other day, "oh, by the way, did you know the world is ending this weekend?" - I said, "what? I thought that was happening next year!".

I can't keep up.

That's funny! He should video it and put it on youtube for us all to enjoy!

LOL! Well, at least DH and I are in the same boat if we are wrong. Technically our anniversary is the 24th, but we are going this weekend down to Denver for a night. It's our Groupon/Living Social deals weekend!

No, they probably won't be there, they'll be going to retrieve all the stuff they gave away.

What Anniversary/Rapture plans do you have?

I have no doubt they'll regroup eventually.

It may take some time for someone to come up with a clever old-world calendar that explains how they had the wrong day.

If the world ends, Denver sounds like a great place to be when it happens!

We're staying downtown at the Marriott, I have deals for Gelato at one place, drinks and aps at a Historic hotel, dinner, then brunch the next day. Deals for everything!

We are contemplating something in Boulder Saturday morning before heading down to Denver. Maybe pastries or something at the Farmer's Market.
