I'm a little irritated. I am doing the Relay for Life (fundraising for cancer research) and the organizers of the local event are obnoxious. They don't like our team because "OMG U HAZ GAY PEOPLE ON UR TEAM." They won't advertise any of our fundraisers (they "forget" to mention them), they don't send us updates ("oops we forgot"), and they keep passing out religious propaganda to people (4x now) to save us.

Next year we are doing the event in my city. Yay!

That's too bad. I bet Relay for Life would be interested to hear from you. They are supposed to be non-discriminatory.

I did my first fugitive hunt last night.
I was the "bait". I was the only non-uniformed 21 year old who could get into the club where we believed the guy to be.
Went in, saw the guy, let everyone know and had to stay in until the club let out.

A fight broke out in the parking lot and one of the bosses for the fugitive task force pulled a gun and so did every dude involved in the fight, my friend got accidentally OC'd (pepper sprayed) in the side of the head, neck and arm and then sucker punched by some ass in the same side of the head busting his ear open and there was like skin detached and crap and we had to spend 3 hours in the ER.

I was like 10ft from some crazy ass with a gun.

And my friend is right back out at work tonight.

Happy anniversary, rkb!

Phew, I just got caught up with Mattie's wedding soap opera... what a schemozzle! My daughter has been with her BF for seven years and living together for close to five years. Her bio clock is tick-tick tocking (she's nearly 33) and I know they have plans in that department, but so far no mention of a wedding! Thank heavens she's more of a 'party in the garden' type of girl and far too sensible to want or expect a major production.
